This kayak is made out of an ultralight ABS plastic that shaves nearly 20lbs off the weight when compared to similar 14 foot sit on top kayaks. Not only is the kayak light it is also very efficient. The ABS plastic is more rigid thus cuts through the water with ease. The kayak comes with front dry storage as well. This particular kayak is rudder ready which means one could easily add a rudder to the boat since all the plastic lines are installed through the hull.
