This adorable brown tabico girl was found on Mercer Avenue in mid-May with no mother in sight, and too young to survive on her own. Fortunately for her, young Kali had just entered the shelter with her five kittens and was perfectly happy to nurse a sixth. So Kookie got the best of both worlds... a new kitty mama and five adopted siblings to snuggle and romp with to her hearts content. Though she seems like a pretty mellow girl, just tempt Kookie with a mouse on a string, and shell go after it like a tiger! She would be happy to go home by herself, but would be extra glad if she was paired with one of her adopted siblings, Kandace, Kara, Kenny, Keenan or Kody. Either way, shes sure to please! Come in and meet her soon! *Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
